Who we are

This website, www.mknsys.com, belongs to MKN Systems, an IT consulting company based in Montreal, Canada.

No tracking

The website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. You can browse every page without giving us any personal data.

The only cookie is set when you pick a language with the EN/FR switch: it is called lang, holds “en” or “fr”, and lasts one year so the site opens in your language next time. Until you pick one, the site chooses French or English from your browser’s language setting and your approximate location (country, or province in Canada), which are not stored.

Contact form

When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter, together with your IP address, approximate country and browser type. We use this information only to reply to you and to protect the form against abuse. It is sent to our mailbox and kept in a log on our own server.

To stop automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving check that does not use cookies for tracking.

Service providers

The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to protect and speed up the site. Messages from the contact form are delivered by email through Google.

How long we keep your data

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our business relationship, and no longer than three years.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by sending a message through the contact form.
